Fixing Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager Errors

Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) errors usually trigger when you try to launch or install an Android Virtual Device (AVD) in Android Studio. It happens because HAXM cannot access your processor’s virtualization hardware. Enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x)

The most common cause is that virtualization is turned off in your system BIOS.

Restart your PC and repeatedly tap the BIOS key (usually F2, F10, F12, or Del).

Navigate to the Advanced, Security, or System Configuration tab.

Locate Intel Virtualization Technology (or VT-x) and change it to Enabled.

Save the changes and exit (usually F10) to reboot your computer. Disable Conflicting Hypervisor Features
