Your Echo needs the internet to use Alexa. You can use your phone as a router. Open your phone settings. Turn on Personal Hotspot or Mobile Hotspot. Note your hotspot name and password. ⚙️ Connect Echo to Your Hotspot You must link the Echo to your phone’s data network. Open the Amazon Alexa App on your phone. Tap Devices, then select your Echo.
