Flwrap is a standalone, lightweight file encapsulation and compression utility developed by David Freese (W1HKJ) as part of the W1HKJ Software Suite. It is primarily used in amateur radio (HAM radio) alongside Fldigi to securely transmit data files, images, or text messages over radio waves. By wrapping data inside explicit identifier blocks and appending a 16-bit CRC checksum, Flwrap ensures that the receiving station extracts an exact, error-free copy of the original file.
